Pedro Rueda: Urban disorders

The bogey of the urban photo is, for definition, wide and subjective. The innumerable forms that the urban life adopts are capable of being transformed and interpreted according to the eye of the photographer. In case of Pedro Rueda everything is translated to the disorder.


In the photo of Pedro Rueda the city (Mexico, in your case) is the stage, although not the protagonist. It serves here as context, as frame, but not as subject. Wheel rescues in your photos the people who lives in her and the consequences of the dynamic and daily town planning. We see grids like that, dogs, cartelería, dirt … quite designed in a coloring brush and with very much implicit disorder.
