Alfred Eisenstaedt: a father of the photojournalism

Alfred Eisenstaedt

Alfred Eisenstaedt (1898-1995) is a recognized photographer native to the current Poland. An unavoidable modality in what there is photojournalism refers. Let's know briefly his history: in 1935 it emigrated towards the United States. On the following year it began to be employed at the magazine Life.

It was part of the team of this magazine until the year 1972. Along his career it painted the portrait of one without celebrities end between that there are figures as Sophia Loren, Benito Mussolini, Adolf Hitler, Ernest Hemingway and Albert Einstein. Many of these portraits were carried of the magazine Life.

Alfred Eisenstaedt published numerous books, received an awards quantity and realized diverse exhibitions along his career like photographer. In 1945 VJ day in took his most memorable titled picture Steal Square” in which a sailor appears kissing a girl (it knows this photo next).
