Arthur Leipzig: growing in New York

principal-fotografos.jpg

In this opportunity we penetrate into the work of Arthur Leipzig, a photographer born in 1918 in the city of Brooklyn, New York. After studying photo in Photo League in 1942, Leipzig turned into photographer of the newspaper PM, where it worked during a pair of years. During this period it completed a photographic essay on the games of the street children.

Then it turned into an independent graphic reporter and traveled about the world, contributing with his work to magazines like Sunday The New York Times, T his Week, Fortune, Look and Parade.

Leipzig has been included in numerous collective exhibitions as well as in permanent exhibitions in different museums of New York. If you want to turn the look backwards and know little his works this is an excellent opportunity to do it.
